Data Science Associate

• Use statistical modeling to make inferences and predictions about the behavior of drivers and riders in deployments
• Gain understanding of entity-relationship models, help organize data at Via, and build custom datasets for internal and external stakeholders
• Hone presentation and communication skills by giving regular reports on progress and findings

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier university in neuroscience, physics, biology, math, economics, computer science, operations research, or other highly quantitative field with exceptional academic achievement
• Have conducted scientific research as an undergraduate with at least one project heavy in data analysis, statistical modeling, or stochastic simulations
• Have written at least 2,000 lines of high-quality functional or object-oriented code in Python or other language suitable for data analytics
• Extraordinary communicator with demonstrated writing, editing and visualization skills

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000 per year (final salary determined by experience, knowledge, and skills)
