Content Migration Specialist (6 month contract, remote)

Core responsibilities:

• Migrate content from Your Membership to iMIS, including pages, documents, and related assets
• Ensure content accuracy and formatting consistency
• Collaborate with staff to confirm content priorities, workflows, and deadlines
• Conduct quality assurance checks to verify successful migration and functionality
• Document migration processes and flag issues or recommendations for improvement

This role supports a national association working to advance equitable higher education access by ensuring smooth content migration that maintains organizational integrity and enables continued service delivery to members.

Required qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience working with a CMS (required) or association management systems
• Previous experience with iMIS preferred
• Prior experience with content or data migration projects
• Familiarity with membership-based organizations or nonprofits
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of content accurately
• Basic understanding of web content structure, metadata, and file organization

Compensation: $35 per hour (approximately $72,800 annual equivalent for full-time work). Position is mainly remote but requires residence in the DMV area.
