Consultant, Cost-Effectiveness Assessment and Internal Modelling

Core responsibilities:

• Design and operationalize an internal cost-effectiveness assessment model aligned with effective altruism methodologies
• Develop a practical, transparent framework to evaluate RTSL's health interventions
• Apply the model to priority initiatives including low-sodium salt interventions and pandemic preparedness
• Train RTSL staff on using the model and embed cost-effectiveness thinking into program design
• Create defensible outputs and documentation suitable for effective altruism-aligned funders

This role creates positive change by developing rigorous cost-effectiveness models that help Resolve to Save Lives maximize the impact of their health interventions, ensuring resources are allocated to programs that save the most lives per dollar spent.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Experience with cost-effectiveness assessment methodologies
• Knowledge of effective altruism principles and frameworks
• Ability to design and implement practical evaluation models
• Experience in health intervention evaluation or public health
• Strong analytical and modeling skills
• Training and capacity building experience
