Mission

What you will drive

  • Oversee the tracking of NIRH (c3) / NIRH AF (c4) lobbying activities and expenses to ensure compliance with state and local lobbying laws
  • Develop and maintain an advanced, up to date understanding of lobbying laws in identified NIRH/AF priority states and localities
  • Prepare and file required lobby registrations for identified staff who will lobby in specific states and localities year to year
  • Serve as the liaison between external attorneys and NIRH/AF staff pertaining to lobbying compliance

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 3+ years of experience in compliance oversight for lobbying, public policy, or government relations
  • Deep understanding of lobbying laws and regulations at the state level
  • Ability to analyze complex regulations and distill key insights into clear, concise and actionable information for non-specialist audiences
  • Demonstrated experience developing and facilitating compliance training

What's in it for you

This is a benefits eligible position with an annual salary between $91,400 to $95,000 commensurate with experience. The position offers flexibility with 28 hours of work during normal business hours, Monday to Thursday, 10 AM to 6 PM.
