Community Outreach Coordinator

• Plan and execute multi-stakeholder meetings per established engagement plan related to Project Pre-Planning/Procurement, Design/Relocation and Construction
• Coordinate and provide regular communication to address questions and concerns raised by residents
• Schedule regular updates to stakeholders, Tenant Association, and residents
• Ensure materials are informative, easily digestible, and translated

This role creates positive change by ensuring proper notification of program status, incorporating resident input in key areas, and facilitating communication between NYCHA developments and stakeholders to improve community engagement and project outcomes.

• Experience in community outreach, stakeholder engagement, or related fields
• Ability to plan and execute meetings and workshops
• Strong communication skills for phone calls, distributing materials, and door-to-door canvassing
• Experience working with resident associations and diverse stakeholders
