Community Land Trust Program Associate

The Program Associate will support VSCLT's mission through:

• Facilitating homeowner engagement and stewardship, including communication, education programs, and compliance monitoring
• Supporting partnerships and acquisitions with local governments and housing developers, including market analysis and documentation
• Managing communications and operations, including social media, website updates, and stakeholder database maintenance
• Assisting with fundraising, grant writing, scheduling, and administrative tasks

This role creates permanently affordable homes for low- and moderate-income families in Virginia, empowering communities to build lasting equity, stability, and opportunity for generations to come.

Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Experience/education in community development, nonprofit management, real estate, affordable housing, or similar fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms

Compensation and benefits include:

• Salary of $40,000 - $45,000 depending on qualifications
• Remote work with flexible 35-hour work week
• Generous holidays and paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days)
