What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement GFW's communications strategy in alignment with organizational priorities (fundraising, advocacy, visibility)
  • Lead storytelling that centers dignity, agency, and ethical representation of widows
  • Translate program data, monitoring & evaluation insights, and field updates into accessible, compelling narratives
  • Manage GFW's social media accounts across relevant platforms and develop content calendars

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 3–7 years of experience in communications, marketing, or storytelling, preferably within NGOs or mission-driven organizations
  • Demonstrated experience writing for public audiences, donors, and institutional stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of ethical storytelling and safeguarding principles
  • Significant experience managing organizational social media accounts
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva required; Adobe a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
