Communications Associate (part-time, fixed-term)

• Draft short written narratives and blogs
• Edit and produce basic short-form audio and video stories
• Collect and organize content and resources from CN members via regular newsletters
• Update website content and maintain CN's online presence on social platforms
• Assist with fundraising and grant writing materials
• Support communications tasks for events, workshops, and dialogues

This role helps articulate and share the Climigration Network's vision and innovative approaches to inspire members and partners to join in their collective mission of supporting communities responding to climate displacement with agency, care, reciprocity, and justice.

• 3+ years of applicable professional experience in communications, preferably in a similar role
• Excellent communications skills in English with ability to craft powerful, concise narratives
• Strong organizational skills with ability to outline workplans, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Experience collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives
• Experience with graphic design, video, and audio editing
• Competency in collaborative tools and platforms (Google Workspace, Zoom, Squarespace, YouTube, LinkedIn, Adobe/Canva)
