What you will drive

Core responsibilities for communications team members:

  • Manage MIRI's communications systems including inboxes, newsletters, website updates, and social media accounts to ensure timely and effective outreach
  • Expand MIRI's presence through social media strategy, content creation, and building relationships with journalists, content creators, and allied organizations
  • Analyze communication effectiveness through metrics, message testing, and audience analysis to refine MIRI's messaging and identify key opportunities
  • Create written content including explainers, press releases, and essays to make technical AI safety concepts accessible to various audiences
