Civil Design Engineer II

• Create site layouts and civil land development design sheet sets in AutoCAD/Civil 3D for utility and commercial scale renewable energy projects.
• Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects and coordinate with clients and project managers on their expectations.
• Work on or lead small projects or portions of larger projects in preparation of drawings and engineering documentation.

This role contributes to fighting climate change by designing large-scale renewable energy projects, helping accelerate the energy transition through engineering work on solar generation capacity.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar applicable work experience is required.
• 2+ years of experience in design and drafting utilizing AutoCAD and/or Civil3D.
• Experience in the creation of civil land development sheet sets including grading, site drainage, and access road design.
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems with effective verbal and written communication skills.
