Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Support the management and implementation of the Global Cities Fund for Migrants and Refugees, including coordination of outreach, application materials, review processes, and communications with cities
  • Support city grantee engagement with meeting planning, scheduling, note-taking, and follow-up, and assist with grant management processes including tracking reporting deadlines and ensuring compliance
  • Support the development and delivery of technical assistance offerings for cities, including trainings on urban migration topics, and plan and execute high-quality online and in-person meetings, events, and workshops
  • Conduct background research and analysis, develop knowledge assets, document lessons learned and promising practices, and draft, proofread, and edit internal and external communications, briefings, and presentations

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Relevant professional experience in a fast-paced environment within a city administration, NGO, or foundation, with experience supporting events, workshops, or convenings and coordinating logistics
  • Experience with grant management or program administration, including tracking deliverables, reporting timelines, budgets, or compliance requirements is a strong asset
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong project management and time management skills, ability to prioritize appropriately, proactively problem-solve, and work well independently and on a team
  • Proactive, creative, and quick learner with high self-motivation, emotional intelligence, strong work ethic, and discretion; fluency in English required, proficiency in Arabic, French, or Spanish preferred

What's in it for you
