Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead, design, and develop programs and initiatives for the Center for Cultural Power, overseeing three primary programmatic strategies: Movement Building, Field Building, and the Cultural Engagement Lab (c4 organization).
  • Build and supervise a team including Senior Program Director and their direct reports, ensuring best practices in team management and implementation fidelity.
  • Design overall strategy for artists disruptors and culture bearers to move through the organization's portfolio, with focus on impact, values, creativity, and culture change.
  • Oversee program design, pedagogy development, and tools that build organizing power of artists and help them be effective in their artistic practice.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 10+ years in program management and implementation with organizations serving diverse communities.
  • 5+ years managing teams with track record of creating collaborative, high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • 2+ years collaborating to design and implement narrative and cultural strategy programs with demonstrable experience implementing narrative vision and strategy.
  • Strong project management skills, exceptional written/verbal/interpersonal/presentation skills, and cultural fluency with direct experience working with diverse communities.

  • Salary range: $165,000 - $175,500/year
