Cement Campaign Director

Core responsibilities include:

• Oversee the development and execution of the Global Cement Network, ensuring strong strategy and effective implementation in partnership with the Field Building Department.
• Build a U.S. campaign strategy that integrates the organization's strengths with a policy and power analysis.
• Determine, help raise, and manage the campaign budget, including leading funder engagement and reporting.
• Oversee the learning and impact evaluation of the campaign, tracking progress and benchmarks against strategic plans.

This role creates positive change by transforming the cement industry to drastically reduce dangerous emissions and make industry accountable to communities and workers, with a triple impact on climate, justice, and jobs.

Required qualifications include:

• At least 10-15 years of increasing responsibility leading teams to accomplish a shared goal.
• Background in policy development, organizing, or leadership within advocacy or movement spaces.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and master the details of policy.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to balance different portfolios and set priorities.
• A record of leading advocacy that has resulted in policy change, implementation, and sustainable wins.
• Experience raising funds to support program budgets and partner organizations.
• Experience building and managing high-functioning teams and mentoring direct reports.

Salary: $156,000 annually. Benefits include 100% employer-paid health coverage (medical, dental, and vision), a work-from-home stipend, up to 5% 401k employer match, 11 paid holidays, and unlimited vacation (with a minimum of 15 business days).
