Capital Mobilisation Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Lead GFI's efforts to mobilize capital for alternative protein scale-up by engaging with investors and financial institutions
• Build relationships with investors and develop pathways for derisking investment in alternative proteins
• Create and present educational materials on investment trends and funding opportunities in the industry
• Supervise the Startup Innovation Lead and oversee GFI's startup engagement initiatives
• Analyze market data to shape investment narratives and represent GFI at industry events

This role creates positive change by mobilizing capital to scale up alternative protein technologies, which can reduce environmental impact, improve food security, and transform the global food system toward more sustainable practices.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience in capital mobilization, investment, or financial engagement
• Strong relationship-building skills with investors and financial institutions
• Ability to analyze market data and create investment narratives
• Experience in supervisory or leadership roles
• Knowledge of alternative protein industry or willingness to learn
