Call for Consultants: Global Roster of Early Childhood Development and Education Experts

• Serve as a Project Lead or supporting technical expert on early childhood development and education projects
• Provide technical expertise in areas such as child rights, holistic development, early intervention, early childhood education, disability inclusion, socio-emotional learning, and inclusive education
• Contribute to project implementation including program design, project management, adult learning methods, quality assurance, and monitoring and evaluation
• Work on projects that advance policy initiatives, strengthen systems, elevate teacher professional learning, and ensure quality interventions and programs

This role creates positive change by strengthening systems that support the education and wellbeing of young children globally, working with local communities to address education challenges and build a strong foundation for children's development through quality and inclusive early childhood programs.

• Masters-level degree and/or equivalent experience in Early Childhood Development, Education, or related fields such as maternal and child health, developmental psychology, social work, public policy, or international development
• Significant expertise in child rights, holistic development, early intervention, early childhood education, disability inclusion, socio-emotional learning, inclusive education, health, nutrition, child protection, or education in emergencies
• Project implementation skills including program design, project management, adult learning methods, quality assurance, education technology, stakeholder engagement, participatory research, and monitoring and evaluation
• Proficiency in English required; proficiency in at least one UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is a plus

Compensation: Rates of pay for consultants are based upon a fair, competitive project scope and budget. Consultants are asked to specify their consulting day-rate in USD during the application process.
