Business Development Officer

Core responsibilities:

• Lead and support the drafting, editing, and submission of proposals, concept notes, and expressions of interest to bilateral, multilateral, foundation, and corporate donors
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and inputs from technical, programmatic, and operational staff during proposal development
• Conduct research to identify new funding opportunities and maintain knowledge of donor priorities, trends, and policies
• Oversee creation of detailed monthly situation reports analyzing socio-political, economic, and humanitarian developments

This role advances Anera's institutional fundraising efforts, enabling the organization to secure funding that supports humanitarian and development programs in Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon, creating positive change for vulnerable communities.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in international development, political science, communications, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in proposal development, grants management, or business development in an international development organization
• Demonstrated success in writing and securing funding from bilateral and multilateral donors
• Strong project management, organizational, and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
