Business Development Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Responsible for sales of Eurofins Discovery portfolio comprising of chemistry, pharmacology, both products and services within the assigned territory or region with the goal of achieving the sales targets for the region.
• Prospect for the client persona that requires services or products for use in drug discovery and develop/support client relationships through various collaborative approaches.
• Build and document territory and regional business plans that will define how sales targets will be accomplished and report on competitor activities.
• Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing to design and implement territory and regional strategies to promote the portfolio and the Eurofins Discovery brand.

Work alongside industry experts and collaborate with team members to directly and positively impact human health worldwide by providing services and products to the drug discovery research industry.

Required qualifications:

• Proficient understanding of the drug discovery process and selling the portfolio to the US client base.
• Maintain a high level of technical and application competence of Chemistry services for drug discovery and development.
• Ability to travel approximately 30-40% of the time, mostly within the territory.
• Diligently utilize the company CRM, keep information up to date and complete.
