Business Development Account Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Work as account manager for target customers to lead innovative programs and applications in additive manufacturing from early concept to full-scale production
• Serve as dedicated Velo technical engineer and resource, working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams at target accounts
• Collaborate with Velo Applications Engineering and Field Management on difficult part production challenges and execution logistics
• Expedite target account's production adoption of Velo3D's end-to-end solution manufacturing process

This role enables on-demand manufacturing of production quality parts with unprecedented design freedom and quality control, advancing additive manufacturing technology and supporting innovative production solutions.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Material Science, or related field
• Industry experience in design engineering and manufacturing processes (AM, casting, machining, forging, etc.)
• Experience completing projects from early phase development through production
• Proficiency in CAD software design (Solidworks, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, CATIA)
• Customer-facing and project/program management skills
• Efficient and effective sales and account management skills
• US Citizen or Green Card holder (mandatory for ITAR)
