What you will drive
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing safety-critical in-house tools.
- Implement new features to improve operations, automate processes, and scale infrastructure for fleet expansion.
- Develop new tools based on requirements from upcoming missions or operator needs.
- Collaborate closely with the satellite operations team to address challenges and propose technical solutions.
- Engage with suppliers for maintenance and updates of procured tools and services.
- Ensure timely reaction to safety-critical issues and prioritise cybersecurity in all developments.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Solid experience as a software developer, with Python proficiency (experience in aerospace or safety-critical software is a plus).
- Expertise with SQL and Database Systems (practical knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or InfluxDB is a plus).
- Hands-on experience in Git version control and CI/CD pipeline implementation (with GitHub actions or GitLab CI).
- Passion for space projects and familiarity with space operations or Earth observation missions.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Linux environments for development and deployment.
- Experience with Rust programming language.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with data visualisation and observability tools like Grafana.
Non-technical skills:
- Ability to prioritize tasks, deliver results on time, and proactively address deviations.
- Quick learner with a drive to expand knowledge and skill sets.
- Collaborative, team-player mindset with a strong motivation to shape constellr's organisation.
- Analytical, results-oriented, and self-motivated with strong discipline for mission success.
- Comfortable working in a distributed team using collaborative tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
