Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Function as a subject matter expert on complex projects within the System Studies department, working closely with Technical Directors and the Vice President
  • Conduct electrical studies primarily for renewable facilities, including short circuit, reactive power/load flow, arc flash, dynamic, transient, harmonic, compliance, ampacity, and grounding studies
  • Establish study templates, methodologies, and best practices for electrical system studies and serve as SME for study software related questions and troubleshooting
  • Provide regulatory compliance services for all project design phases from conceptual design through project testing and commissioning

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution (electric power option preferred)
  • 7+ years of relevant engineering or field experience
  • FE licensure required, PE licensure preferred
  • Proficiency in power system modeling software including PowerFactory, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, Easypower, Aspen, Windmil, CAPE, CDEGS, WinIGS, PSSe, PSLF, Cymcap, and PSCAD
