Arrears Executive (Late Arrears)

• Proactively manage customer service requests and inbound communications for mortgage and loan products in arrears
• Handle accounts in later arrears and litigation for motor finance and mortgages, including repossession cases
• Ensure regulatory compliance by issuing accurate documentation and adhering to FCA rules and company standards
• Identify and refer specialized cases such as complaints, vulnerability, and fraud while negotiating repayment solutions

This role supports customers in financial difficulty while ensuring fair treatment and outcomes, contributing to Tandem's mission of driving a brighter, greener future through responsible banking practices.

• Previous experience in financial services with regulatory knowledge and success in customer service and arrears management
• Demonstrable experience working with mortgage and motor finance arrears, including repossessions and forbearance options
• Knowledge of FCA rules (MCOB and CONC), CCA, GDPR regulations, and handling vulnerable customers
• Experience in later arrears and litigation for secured loans with ability to manage complex cases and prepare court documentation

Salary up to £37,000 dependent on experience + bonus + benefits including:
