Area Sales Manager

• Generate sales volume and attain sales objectives for the assigned sales region in Indiana, Michigan, or Ohio
• Plan and coordinate all channel partners, develop business opportunities, and maintain productive relationships with customers, manufacturer representatives, and distributors
• Conduct sales calls to increase product placement, participate in meetings, and keep Senior Management informed of area activities and challenges
• Make recommendations to management regarding products, pricing, and sales projections

This role supports the transformation toward a smarter and more sustainable energy future by empowering utilities and consumers to optimize energy usage through advanced metering and grid-edge intelligence, contributing to decarbonization and grid modernization.

• Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of experience required, with solid understanding of electric utilities, meter and AMI technologies
• Must possess valid driver's license and passport for domestic and international travel, with 75% expected travel
• Strong knowledge of company's products, channel development strategies, and thorough understanding of sales functions
• Excellent public relations, negotiation, communication, analytical, and technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
