AI Product Engineer

• Collaborate directly with customers to understand their needs and build AI products that solve problems in clean energy finance
• Build products from 0 to 1, co-designing processes and systems for shipping high-quality AI products at Crux
• Pick the tools and frameworks used for AI product development and help invent new frameworks using first principles
• Learn about the nuts and bolts of clean energy finance while raising the bar for engineering culture

This role creates positive change by using AI to reimagine and accelerate clean energy financing, making capital markets more transparent and efficient, which helps unlock trillions of dollars in capital needed for renewable energy and manufacturing projects.

• 4+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with ability to build products end-to-end (frontend + backend)
• Proven experience building and shipping user-facing LLM products
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills (oral & written)
• Experience with NextJS + React + Typescript stack, making UX decisions, and iterating on products through evals & CI/CD are bonuses

• Compensation: Base salary of $150,000 - $250,000 depending on experience, plus company-wide bonus tied to revenue goals and stock options
