AFJ Law Program Manager

• Oversee AFJ Law operational systems and coordinate with AFJ-wide systems to ensure seamless functionality and data integrity
• Collaborate with AFJ Law Program Director and operations team to establish secure infrastructure for case management, client intake and controlled information flow across AFJ programs
• Collaborate with AFJ leadership to scale the AFJ Law pilot into a comprehensive program, including planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Cultivate strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to amplify program impact
• Conduct legal research into AFJ Law matters, providing insights and recommendations to inform program strategies and advocacy efforts

This role strengthens legal capacity within progressive movements and provides strategic legal support to organizations advancing progressive policy goals, empowering nonprofits to be bold and secure in their advocacy to protect communities and transform democracy.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in program management
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in legal operations a plus
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
• Nonprofit and/or public interest organization experience a plus
• Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
• Exceptional computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office 365; experience with case management systems a plus

Salary range: $77,500-$85,925. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, employee assistance program, 401K with 5% employer contribution, life and disability insurance, vacation days (11-21 days depending on tenure), up to 16 weeks parental leave with 12 weeks fully paid, and a commitment to racial equity and inclusive organizational culture.
