Account Manager, Utility

• Develop and execute strategic account plans
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with utility clients
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities across product and service portfolios
• Lead customer negotiations and resolve issues with agility
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored energy solutions
• Drive margin growth and customer satisfaction
• Present insights to influence business decisions
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

This role helps drive the transformation of the power industry by building strategic partnerships and delivering tailored solutions that support the modernization of transmission and distribution systems, shaping the future of energy infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 3 years’ account management/sales experience
• Experience in some combination of Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and/or Marketing
• Willingness to travel up to 20%-30% of the time
• Strong customer relationship skills; Exceptional analytical skills and leadership abilities
• Must have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
• Experience working with large investor-owned utility clients is a plus
• Recent experience working with digital and service sales
